I have been a patient with the Thorndyke for many years and have always been happy with the service and care I have received. I have always found the receptionists to be helpful and sympathetic to my needs. It isn’t easy to get an appointment on this occasion my telephone consultation was arranged via calling 111 and then waiting until 6pm in the evening before the promised call from the GP. I can’t fault the treatment given following the call.

Suggested improvements
I understand the difficulties all Dr surgeries are under going and try to use the Dr as a last resort only but the level of anxiety I feel when I hear ‘ you are 16th in the queue which means you know you aren’t going to get an appointment is indescribable. Thankfully the route through 111 does seem to work better.
