The staff are 1st class, you can ask questions etc and get a reply. I find some of the Locam doctors do not look at and work out which tablets are best for the patient. I know no one is perfect but if the Locam doctor is not sure they could ask the local doctor.

I have to commend Swineshead surgery, and especially Laura who has been extremely helpful in trying to resolve a recent issue with the UHLT. The difference in attitude and helpfulness between the surgery and the Trust admin staff could not be more marked. The surgery involve you, seek your opinion and consent and more importantly appear to remember you from previous discussions, whereas the Trust appear to be rule bound and do not really care about individuals preferring to recite regulations. If it was possible to avoid any contact with the UHLT then I would say do it, but as this is a review of the Swineshead Surgery, I can only give them praise, as I have never in any of my dealing with them from the latest dealings with Laura, who I understand is not medical, through to the doctors and the Sisters and nurses Linda and Bev, had any cause to complain or think they were being less than professional and caring.
