Me and my family have had nothing but an excellent experience of St Stephen's House surgery. Compared to our previous two GPs, both in a suburb of London, this GP should exceed 5 stars. There are always 3 doctors available to see. The surgery has smart and clean facilities. The reception staff go out of their way to help us, and when we get to see the doctors, they are passionate about helping patients. I also see the Nurse periodically, and its nice to have a bit of a chinwag while your blood is being taken, it takes the sharpness of the needle away. Thank you staff, a real pleasure to be a patient, this is what a GP practice in the UK should be.
Receptionists are brilliant, very helpful, and cheerfully put up with my weird sense of humour.
I tend to see Dr Bush every 3 months, or send in blood sugar readings and blood pressure charts, to keep her up to date. Appointments are always made 3/4 week in advance, so no problem there.
The doctors here are all good, with Lydia Busch being exceptional. See her if you can. Receptionists are generally helpful, the one exception being Jane the assistant manager who always seems to want to be awkward, unhelpful and miserable. Never understand how she gets away with it. Nurses are all absolutely lovely and overall this is a very good practise.
An extremely professional, friendly and flexibly-organised practice. All go out of their way to help and treat. Quick action where called for.
