There was a long queue on the phone but I was given the option to press 1 for a callback. When I went for my appointment with Dr Bansal she was extremely thorough. She listened to my concerns, explained her thoughts on them and what would happen next to address them. She made me feel valued as a person and a patient. I have every confidence that she will do her best to resolve my issues.

Suggested improvements
I had an appointment the previous week which did not help me but I feel it was more to do with the way I described my symptoms rather than his failure

If you cannot see a Doctor you can usually speak to one, although preferably it is sometimes necessary to see a Doctor face to face.

Suggested improvements
It would be good if when all the appointments are gone you could be informed before getting to number 1 in the queue after being on the phone for maybe 3/4 to 1hour. I appreciate everything being done at our surgery & do consider myself lucky to even have a Doctor.

It is hard to get through for appointments, but whenever I have the reception are always very helpful and will try to get an appointment either in person or on the phone.

Suggested improvements
Online appointment booking would be easier but open to misuse and I think the more elder patients may not be able to use. When having blood pressure checks, it would be easier to use the pharmacy next door or be given options of where to go. Rather than the one in kingsthorpe as that is out of my way

It is impossible to be able to walk into the surgery and make an appointment as you are told to phone at o8.ooam the next day

Make it easier to get an appointment to see a doctor instead of being passed over to a nurse.

I had a text message to book for a health check. I was given a link to book an appointment, i had a few choices. I arrived at the reception and i was greeted by Shirley, who always has a very pleasant manner. I only had to wait a few minutes after my appointment time. I was called in by the nurse, who introduced herself as Joy. She had explained what the health check was about and what was needed for the tests. After the tests, she informed me how and when to obtain my test results. She was also very pleasant. The surgery overall was clean and tidy and patient service was great.
