When I phoned up the surgery at 9.15am, I heard the same recording 5/6 times as I was holding to speak to a receptionist.
It would help rather than leaving the same announcement for us to be able to know if we are "50 & 50 in the queue" because if I am 20th in the queue, I will hang up but do not want to keep hearing the automated recording as you are left without knowing how long you have to wait.
