Excellent response by Dr Kilner to my request for prostate assessment. Excellent communication skills, comprehensive explanation of what he was going to do. Thorough rectal examination revealed slight prostate enlargement. I feel confident in the course of action he has recommended. Shame Dr Kilner is a locum - he'd be a wonderful addition to the permanent medical staff!

Seeing a doctor, and when an appointment is made to see a nurse for eg. A blood test and they ask "what have you come for " is not I my mind good practice. I also felt like I did not matter and was wasting their time. Seeing a junior doctor I thought was a waste.
