I have spent so long struggling with my acne, I have been coming to the GP about it for years (6 years) and had no real help. Until I had a consult with this doctor (I’ve forgotten the name) I believe it was Dr.Stoppard? Or something very similar to that, a lovely lady with Gucci glasses in room 24. She recognised all id been through with it and helped me out a great deal, thanks to her I finally have a bit of hope about feeling good about my skin!! I don’t usually write reviews but this doctor deserves some sort of recognition.

Without sounding ungrateful, it took 6 years to be referred to dermatology for my acne, I feel maybe if I was just referred after a couple of appointments you wouldn’t have had to waste appointment time bringing me back from 2018-2024.

Repeated phone calls and long waits or having to wait hours for a call back

Allow better access to doctors. When I wish to discuss more than one genuine problem I have to restrict to just one.

I used the triage form. It seems to be available from 8am until 8.30am. I was a secretary with good typing/computer skills but found it difficult to complete the form in the time allowed. Once before I filled one in but a message came on the screen saying all appointments were taken. I presume many OAP's would find this difficult and try to telephone for an appointment. In my experience this has to be done very early or there are no appointments left. I tend to not bother and hope my symptoms improve on their own.

I saw a nurse and Dr Sera came in too so the appointment was successful. Sometimes there is no 'follow up'.
