Unless the GP with whom I'm regietered asks to see me, I can never get an appointment. This makes a lie of the 'continuity of care' that Northbrink claims to provide. Northbrink, like others nationally, has been too keen to cash in on government financial allowances per patient and as a result registered too many patients. This greedy practice reflects badly on quality of patient care...appointments (if you are lucky enough to get one) are too brief and rarely followed up by the same GP.
Constructive suggestions: stop registering new patients and start taking better care of those that you have. Positives: on the whole the staff are friendly and 2 of the GPs are particularly outstanding.
Time taken to be seen.
Excellent service-very helpful.
Staff friendly.
I would like to say thank yo to the receptionist whose first name is Lynn. She was very helpful and efficient in addressing my concerns that my son had not had an offer of the men ACHY vaccine that other students had been offered. She explained who was being offered it and that my son could have the vaccine as it was his first year at university. Although the surgery had none available at the time she said she would contact me as soon as some was available. She dully did this 9/9/15.
