When I first moved into this area the practice was so excellent I used to boast about it to friends who were having difficulties getting appointments to see their own doctors. Now this practice has joined the rest and the service is appalling. There are far too many patients which has resulted in never hardly seeing the doctor of choice.i do not want to discuss my problems with a receptionist or a nurse practitioner with the latter still having to call in a doctor so the saying busy fools applies.i cannot fault the dispensary staff at all in fact they give the best service in the practice. Something definitely needs to be done. If a new practice were to open in the area I would not hesitate to move and so would a lot of others. These problems are discussed daily by your patients sitting waiting.

I understand the need for running the appointment system as it is but patients should be able to request a doctor. Sometimes we know for sure we need to see a GP not a nurse.
