Saw a nurse who was very good and professional but still neede to refer to the GP.

I am not sure what is going on in the NHS where I have always been impressed with the quality of treatment. I am old enough to remember when GP's made housecalls sadly it is virtually impossible to see a GP even in surgery.

I find it difficult to get an appointment now days, I like to see someone not have my appointment over the phone.

Good meeting with nurse. Did not feel rushed.

I was asked to triage using touch screen in surgery. Highly repetitive, requesting information already held.

Awaiting a call from triage is stressful. You have no idea when it is expected. If you miss two calls because your phone is out of reach or you don’t hear it, you lose your place. Far better if the surgery fails to contact at the second attempt, a voicemail or text is sent with a reference number and telephone number so that the patient can speak to someone to get their issue resolved.

I would like to know whether I am seeing a Dr, a physician associate, nurse practitioner or someone who has wondered off the street to keep warm. Name tags showing name and role would be very helpful. Although I accept that the last category in my list would result an impractically long badge! Preferred pronouns and gender information is not needed though.
