I filled in a triage form on the website and was contacted after an hour and offered an appointment with a nurse. Kate was lovely and dealt with my problem efficiently and I was very happy to see a nurse instead of a doctor for my illness.

The appointment was 30 minutes late but I appreciate that cannot always be avoided. An apology was given.

Explained to triage that I had recently lost my brother and that I believed I was having some forms or panic attacks or anxiety. I said I didn’t feel well. ask to see someone to talk about it. Call back received saying I had to go to A&E if I have chest pains? I never said I had chest pains. didn’t get an appointment. I was not going to hospital

Phones are often very busy and despite being at the surgery early slots are often late in the day, requiring another trip into town.

On this occasion, nothing - I was dealt with efficiently and even saved another trip by the nurse carrying out a future check on the day of my LTCR. However, in the past I have had multiple occasions where test results (that I had asked to be forwarded to Charing Cross Hospital) never arrived. I do not know whether this was the fault of Wisbech or London. Charing Cross Hospital tell me that many GP surgeries are rubbish at doing this!

Follow up appointment scheduled by surgery to discuss CT scan results. Nurse practitioner very kind, caring and helpful in explaining results. Doctor consulted and has kindly arranged follow up investigations. I am very satisfied and reassured with thoroughness exhibited by medical professionals involved.
