I booked by phone, no trouble, health check I was offered as a new patient. At the check the nurse explained everything, she was not sure about my high cardiovascular score, went to see the doctor, he came and explained to me directly.

I was given printout of results. I asked for it email but she could not do it. If it is on my record on the NHS app and I have access that will be fine.

Felt my consultation with the nurse was swift, she checked my answers with the Dr who also responded quickly guiding me to attend A&E.

Sometimes would be nice to have a face to face with a doctor

Treatment and care fine at the surgery.

Appointment was on Monday , today is Wednesday and I am still unable to access my medication. Pharmacy told me I needed to ask for an alternative as they were out of stock I rang surgery and was told this would be dealt with and someone would be in touch. Rang again Tuesday as I had heard nothing. Was told an alternative had been sent to Fairbrother. Rang them to be told new prescription was exactly the same, just a different dose, so they still couldn't supply it. Rang surgery again to be told I could either ring all the local pharmacies to find out who had it in stock )not helpful - I didn't even know the name of the medication) or I could leave my details and query for the medication team. I opted to do that and have still heard nothing. Nearly 48 hours since my appointment, still no medication and my condition is not improving.
