The Advanced Nurse Practitioner was extremely helpful: she listened to my concerns; this was a very important appointment for me, because for a long time I have been suffering badly with perimenopausal symptoms and not getting any help whatsoever in the way of medication to mitigate these symptoms. I have mixed anxiety-depressive disorder but this has been complicated by hormonal problems which were getting worse. She prescribed hormonal treatment and explained everything to me so that I could understand it.
