Improvements need to be made about booking an appointment,it is impossible to get to see a doctor same day even if you turn up at 8am unless you are very lucky,even worse trying to make one on the phone to see someone urgently,there needs to be more doctors on duty and less nurse practicioners,if you book on line you can see how few appointments are available with a GP within a week,this is not good enough,the appointment system seems to be going backwards instead of getting better. Also you should not need to tell the receptionist what your reason is for booking an appointment ,this is between the clinical team and the doctors ,not a receptionist.
