I called to get advice regarding my mmr vaccination status. I was given the information that I had only had 1 vaccination but when I queried if that was sufficient I was directed to NHS 111. I called 111 and they then put a request through to the GP to give me advice. However I still had to call the surgery to request a GP called me back following the 111 referral. It is so long winded and time consuming

Suggested improvements
It would be helpful to just be able to speak to a Nurse/GP or even for the receptionist to have gained advice from the GP. It took all day for me to gain advice and then that advice was unclear anyway. I was told by the GP I needed another vaccination and a Nurse would call me, however received a text to say i need a blood test. I am assuming I need a blood test to check my immunity status but at no point was this communicated.
