I have made comments about the surgery in my review of Doctor Rao. I think I am fortunate to have Neath Hill as my local health centre
not always
recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, informed by the nurse Helen (very good nurse) that if I have any problems make an appointment. well as i have never been on metformin before I read all the gumf in with the tablets., including adverse reactions well my body didn't like these tablets and i started to get what seemed like a reaction. so when i tried to make an emergency appointment i was told it was a 2 week waiting list. which could have proven fatal. if all the information available was to be believed. medication changed to "Glucophage" no problem with these. although I know metformin is the generic name.
I know exactly what times to make an appointment to see my GP on the same day. The staff are very helpful and accommodating.
Worst surgery I have ever used. The receptionists sit around chatting and laughing- the actual doctors are never here, waiting 45 minutes once I arrive at a booked appointment? You are treated ridiculously badly and they don't care because they know there are few alternatives in the local area - APPALLING
very friendly staff
