I was offered an appointment at the MIAMI clinic at the DURRINGTON HEALTH CENTRE (I belong to the Strand Practice) I was in so much pain I was happy that I could be seen by someone and was assured the Nurse would take good care of me. My appointment was at 10.30am, but I was not seen until 11.15am, which did seem a long time to wait without any update. When I did get to see the Nurse, I felt I was not listened to, nor my symptoms were taken into account. I was told that pain is something that will go away in time, which I do understand. Yet for someone, who injured their ribs during fall and might have fracture, I felt the examination was appalling and stress inducing. He told me it would take about 4 weeks before I would feel better then gave me a prescription for 30 tablets that weren’t very strong which cost me £8.40 and would only last 4 days. I have not been to this clinic before and would not accept an appointment here again. all I can say about constructive care is to train you staff to listen not talk
