It is always difficult to get an appointment in good time

On the day the appointment was very good. I was able to see my named GP who provides a thorough assessment and explanation of my condition and I felt was collaborative. From expedience the problems are in getting a face to face appointment with a doctor in the first place in good time

I did it on e-consult. It seems the most effective way and saves waiting on the phone for ages.

The waiting times are usually about two weeks which is quite a long time for some things.

Sometimes it’s hard to get through to book appointments, but the women at reception (in person or telephone) are ALWAYS so helpful and patient.

I had two issues that I needed to address. I was advised that I could not raise both in the same appointment. As a result I had one telephone appointment plus two in person appointments. My two surgery appointments were on the same day, two hours apart. Not sure that anyone’s time was saved during this process. What seems like efficiency on paper can become ludicrous in practice.
