I arrived for my blood test and was seen immediately and on time by the lovely Di.
Appointment on time and nurse was excellent
The reason for my answer is that Michael diagnosed me before looking in my throat as having streptococcal and said people don't take that much notice looking at their throat my mum then asked him to look at my throat before assuming his thought as I had in larged papillae for 3wks and he was smirking at my mum he was very unprofessional and rude towards us and came away no better off
I called to get travel vaccinations to be told you didn’t do them and I’d have to pay to get them from a travel pharmacy. Having gone back with the information from nhs website them at this was not the case, I was given and appointment. Had I paid it would have been £250. Had I been elderly or less inquisitive I would have lost out.
Once there, the surgery was fine and the nurse was fantastic, helpful, reassuring and professional. Thankyou to her!!
Good although the excellent nurse could not obtain blood from me. She was most understanding. She was reporting to my doctor.
I think getting appointments is still sadly difficult to obtain. As a patient who had a sub arachnoid haemorrhage who appreciates the lovely care I have had. I still find it awkward to get an appointment, which is the most important happening to a patient!
