Excellent people - less than perfect booking system.
Severe difficulty in booking in advance for blood tests I need every 6 weeks as part of my treatment protocol.
The on line system is hit & miss to use / I set an alarm to book 2 weeks before but sometimes it shows no slots and other times it goes forward further. There seems to be no rules.
If I can’t book on line then I have to call every day to see if there are any cancellations - there is no system for waiting list.
Luckily I usually do get an appointment because of the excellent staff but it is more stressful and time consuming than it should be
Factual
The nurse explained the procedure to me and made the whole experience more bearable. She was professional at all times ensuring I had dignity and respect.
I received the best possible care by a kind and considerate nurse. I did not feel rushed and she really listened to what I had to say.
No waiting, skilled and informative phlebotomist.
