It’s usually not easy to get an appointment however in this instance Judith took on board that the physios at Southlands Hospital were concerned about a new symptom when I arrived for a cardiac rehab class, and she made sure that I received same day phone triage. Michael phoned me within half an hour and after a good discussion arranged for me to go in to see him the next morning
It's usually ok to get an appointment, maybe sometimes not always as immediate as one would like and sometimes only over the phone.
You sent me a text telling me my appointment was at Henfield GP surgery, I cancelled my clinic to allow to attend. I attended to an unhelpful receptionist. Not acceptable, communication needs to be clear, “ your telephone consultation is different to attending medical centre”, please sort this out. This cause my unnecessary distress, would help if reception could perhaps say, really sorry, how could we change our communication to prevent this occurring to anyone else” not a sorry shoulder shrug with no acknowledgement of my distress. Simple fix eh?
