Sometimes it takes a long time to get through because of calls waiting & when you do to make an appointment with your GP you're told none for at least 2 weeks or more.
Surely you can put more staff answering the phones at busy times.
I understand that DR'S are busy but when I have been there the waiting room is almost empty.
I think you need to concentrate on DR'S seeing patients instead of so much telephone appointments because how can a Dr tell what's wrong without seeing you

More telephones being answered at busy times which would help telephone queues & less telephone appointments by DR'S over the phone
Also important results of any kind should be notified to the patient concerned without them ringing to find out
