My mother who is in her mid-seventies is due to have open heart surgery in three days time and needs to inject medication given to her by the hospital in preparation for the operation. She called Heathcote (she is a registered patient) to ask if someone could help administer for her as she can't deal with needles (neither can I). Regrettably the surgery has refused to help her. Very disappointing. Perhaps we expect too much as the Dr's are typically charming when we do get to see them but this was essential treatment so I really don't know.

Our appointment which was made by G.P. In room last time we came was not in the system resulting in a 50 min wait. This has happened before. The receptionists however was very a apologetic. I heard similar situations whilst waiting and felt very sorry for help.

It is almost impossible to get through on the telephone. Also I wrote to the Practice Manager about something a while ago and never even had a reply. You hardly ever get to see the doctor you have been assigned to.
