Unfortunately the building is old and tired and not custom built for a modern surgery, serving the needs of a growing population.
The staff do an excellent job in difficult conditions.
Why do receptionists have to take phone calls when they are dealing with patients waiting to book in or make appointments. Surely phone calls should be dealt with elsewhere thereby alleviating the often growing line of patients presenting in person.

Fern House surgery is a great example of primary care in the community. All staff are helpful and the email based appointment system is a real help

I have always found the staff at fern house very pleasant & helpful . The surgery is clean ,all be it a bit grubby in the waiting area .i realise this is due to it being an old building & the amount of people going through it .
