Nurse was very good for blood test.
Please can you make it easier to see a Doctor or the Diabetic Nurse as the current arrangements are a complete fiasco.
Some members of the reception team have a very poor telephone manner and would benefit from attending an interpersonal skills course
horrible place to visit reception staff not good what they forget is that is all they are reception staff not doctors.very difficult to get through on the phone numerous mistakes made with prescriptions all in all not a good place not welcoming get rid of the receptionists
Dr Perryer arranged for an MRI scan for me as we thought I had a re-occurrence of spinal pain following surgery in December 2013. After I had the scan a lump had been found on my thyroid. Dr Perryer arranged for me to go to the hospital the following day for an X-Ray and blood tests, I had an ultrasound 2 days later and I had an urgent referral to a consultant at the hospital. Dr Perryer was in constant contact with me during the initial process and was always available for me to talk to especially when I hit my low point after my biopsy she was always kind, caring and willing to listen. From my lump being found, through the to ultrasound, biopsy, consultant appointments, surgery and follow up appointment it was a total of 11 weeks. I'm certain that this was due to Dr Perryer's prompt action in the first instance.
Quite possibly the worst place to go if you work and also need medical support!!
If you can actually get through the receptionists to make an appointment, it will only be for today, as they cannot do anything more!!
It is so refreshing to be told that yes, I can see an appointment on the screen with the correct member of staff and yes its for this week, but you cannot book it, as its not for today. You will have to ring up on the day and see if its still available. Oh yes, and then be told "well it is the NHS"...
