No need for the long voicemail on telephones at or just after opening in the morning. It is hard enough to get through.
Although I understand that Practice receptionists have a demanding job, I find the receptionists at this practice fairly rude and every time I had to ring for an appointment (which is probably twice/three times on average per year) I get the most uninterested and full of attitude receptionist ever. The audible sighs down the line are not pleasant. Every time I ring, I feel like I am bothering them.
When I actually made to the practice and mentioned it to the receptionist - nicely and politely - the lady who was sitting was not at all sorry to hear that and asked me straight away that it was not her and if I want I can fill in a complaint form (which she could not find). I did not want to complain, I just wanted to mention it to someone to perhaps make the practice aware. However, the way she was all blase about it, made me want to complain.
Maybe I have just been unlucky and the rest of the team is just compassionate and extremely lovely.
On a positive note - all the doctors and nurses that have seen over the years with the practice have been wonderful. Thank you.
Service as always was very good. My problem is booking appts. I am deaf and unable to use the phone. I have reported-requested on several occassions to use text. I am told, with no real explanation that this is not possible, why?
I have been deaf for many years and lived a very independant life and the lack of this service severely restricts my independence.
I arrived at the end of the day after I finished work. Louise and Debbie were very professional but more importantly very kind - going out of their way to ensure I was helped to get a prescription in time to get to the chemist and be able to start my treatment that evening. I am very grateful to them both.
No communication. Had a Dr appointment, told to wait a few minutes for nurse. I have been here an hour.
