Always difficult to get through to the surgery due to volume of calls. When you do then usually appointments are gone. However once you do get an appointment everything is excellent. The doctor I saw was so very kind and helpful, putting me at ease and explaining clearly. He later sent me a text with links to literature relating to my problems. I couldn’t have asked for better treatment. When I spoke to the receptionist she was very helpful and accommodating

Once I had my appointment everything was excellent. Must say I’m impressed with the new text messages reminding patients of appointments and giving an option to cancel. Well done If people still don’t turn up - charge them!!

Not easy at moment but I understand.

The problem is is that you phone dead on 8 in morning and you find you are number 24 in the queue so by time you get there most appointments have gone but thankfully I did manage to get one so all was well

My experience this time was excellent both in booking and execution. Staff were lovely. My appt was late even though at the start of the morning, but i appreciate the pressures everyone is working under. My concern has been actually being able to make appt/ speak to someone in the past. Automated systems are fine for routine activities, but if you just want to speak to someone to know if you need to book an appt this can be VERY tricky - particularly if you are at work and cannot hold for long periods or be available for call back. Not sure what the answer is.

This time nothing - though my call/appt was for flu jab as i never received invite to book in during pre christmas clinics. I am over 50

Phlebotomist being trained Given option to have bloods taken from her. All went very smoothly. Receptionist very helpful regarding finding me a face-to-face doctor's appointment following advice from an econsult.

Make patients aware of odds to get appointments as I thought we could only do it to E consult.
