Getting a appointment proved harder than normal, in fact the receptionist told me I needed to give more notice ,and made me feel like I was causing her a problem, this appointment was asked for from my haematology team and I was calling from my hospital bed to organise this for the following week, I was very upset by her attitude and tone. The nurse I saw couldn’t have been more helpful and kind. She is a credit to the practice.

Perhaps a bit of empathy on behalf of the receptionist or maybe more training?

Difficult to get GP appointments when calling the surgery.

You have to ring at 8am each day to get a general appointment. I can see the point for emergencies but not general appointments

I call at 8 in the morning and becouse of the massive quese ther is never any appointments available so was easier to make an appointment online
