I rang the surgery after 111 advised i needed to see someone urgently that day. I was told No appointments were available so I asked what my options were. They suggested A&E but instead I waited and rang back the next day. Amazingly, when I rang at the turning of 8am I was 5th in the queue - I'm usually a minimum of 15 so I was in shock. Luckily managed to get a phone consultation that day. I was then told I need a blood test by the doc - the next available slot was 11th Jan (nearly 3 weeks away!!

Suggested improvements
Everyone we have something wrong I leave it a few days before attempting an appointment as it's just so hard to get one, so when we call, it's usually because we desperately need one. I'm so disappointed with how hard it is to get an appointment- they're like gold dust.
