This was my 20 min annual review appt. The appt was over in less than 10 mins and when I was surprised she boasted that although her colleagues may take the time, she usually completed her appts in less than the time allotted. My concern is that the practitioner appeared to take no interest in me and my lifestyle. She asked about my drinking and smoking habits but asked nothing about other aspects of my lifestyle or wellbeing. As someone who is morbidly obese I expected to be asked about how sedentary my life is, how much exercise I take, whether I am aware of Healthy Horsham activities etc. I am someone who retired 2 months ago and is struggling with the lack of structure and loss of camaraderie which is impacting on my wellbeing. Your practitioner will not know this as she asked me nothing about me. I was very impressed with the new surgery and parking arrangements. Less so with the care offered.
