Unable to get an appointment
If you get straight on the phone at 8:30 there is always a long queue. Yesterday I went for a booked pneumonia vaccination at 12:25. The surgery was completely empty of patients, I waited 20 minutes before I was seen. Couldn't understand why this was so. So all the people in the queue on the phone have been seen by then ?!
Just to say, I did wait patiently.
Everyone was helpful.
I wasn't rushed at my appointment.
A plan was put in place .
My medication was changed.
A new one prescribed.
To monitor my health problem. If the condition doesn't improve, to see the Doctor .
To discuss what I might need next .
Thank you to everyone , working so hard. With a Government who has no interest in improving our NHS , by encouraging Nurses and Doctors to stay in England. Pay them a decent wage . Rather than letting newly qualified medical professionals, move abroad to be respected, paid a better wage . Have a good work , life balance .
Yapton surgery is a lovely doctor's to be with always helpful receptionist they go above and beyond to help to get you an appointment. I would always give everyone at Yapton surgery five stars every time ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ . Doctor's also five stars every time ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ Don't know where i would be with out them . Keep the good work up .
I completed an Econsult on 18th April, I didn't hear back until the 26th April offering me an appointment on 13th May. The receptionist said the Dr had spoken with me on the 19th, however i dispute this as no one had contacted me. I would have been better off phoning at 8.30 on 19th to get an on the day appointment, but at the time thought an Econsult would be more efficient.
