The telephone needs updating. I was in a queue for 30.min to be told I was no 2 in the queue only to be cut off. Phoned back and I was 15 in the queue. Not acceptable.

Just check the telephone regularly.

Would have been better if staff had not to booked me in for ears micro suctioned when staff had known that this procedure can only be carried out at the hospital and a referral is needed, as only for perforated ear drum. This wasted everyone's time including my grandson who had travelled down from Dorking to take me for the procedure. As I do not have perforated ear drum and ear canal could not been seen clearly because of wax build up, the staff should have told me to book myself with the nurse for ear syringing. However the nurse did give me good advice when I turned up for something she could not perform. I managed to go somewhere else to have micro suction performed.

Staff should be trained to know which procedures can be performed at the surgery and which procedures cannot be performed.

Sometimes it is hit or miss. Depends on the time of day

I think there still could be a better system than phoning at 08.30 for doctors appointments

My original appointment was booked through e consult as it’s easier than waiting on the phone for 1/2 hour plus but the appointment I attended was a cancellation. Glad I was able to fill the gab in such short notice and free up my original appointment

Maybe add some magazines back into the waiting room ? Music ? Oh and there must be something that can be done about none attendance for appointments booked, to get an appointment with a doctor, nurse, hrt specialist are hard enough as it is without people not attend their booked appointments, maybe 3 strikes and out policy, ( dentists use that) even the doctor to ask them why they didn’t attend their last appointment, being questioned about it will embarrass people and they will think twice about not attending if it’s not a genuine reason
