This was the first of two appointments for my diabetic review. It was very easily arranged as ndeed was my next appointment.

I can’t think of anything except the frustration of telephone appointment booking. If I ring at 0829 I get the recorded message. If I ring at 0830 I’m already in a (long) queue! How is that possible?

I was on time for the appointment and saw the nurse almost immediately. The procedure and possible after effects and period of time before protection was effective was explained clearly. Overall I am happy with the appointment.

Could do with a bench outside building for people who arrive during lunchtime when door is locked.

I arrived at the surgery in Middleton and spoke to the receptionist, who was very polite and friendly. Made an appointment at the Yapton surgery for 11:30.

Appointment was for 11:30 but I didn't see the doctor until 12, which was a little disappointing, as there weren't many people in the waiting room, but was pleased I did actually get an appointment.

The support I received was exemplary.

It's a shame access via the twitten is closed (pedestrian access via the carpark can be a little hairy) but I understand monitoring two exits/entrances could be difficult.
