Well, your HCA was unable to take my bloods because she didn't know which vials were correct. She was concerned that some might need to be frozen immediate etc. So I had to go to St Richards phlebotomy & have them taken yesterday afternoon. I do remember that last year your nurse had to look a few of them up on the computer, so as these are yearly tests requested by Southampton University Hospital, going forward I shall have them taken @ St Richards. Thank you.

Well I suppose the HCA could be trained better to know how to determine which vials to use.

Very hard to get through in the mornings to make an appointment when eventually you do 45 minutes later, all the appointments have gone and told to ring back the following morning

More people to answer phones in the morning

Sometimes have to wait a long time before it is possible to speak to a receptionist

Reception staff ( especially Brenda) always kind and helpful. Manage to get appointments when needed. Diabetic team- very good and the new system being introduced ( full review in birth month) is a great idea. Only one negative GP consultation in all my visits.

Would like to be able to forward book double appointments with greater easy if one was needed. .
