Just wanted to highlight how w wonderful staff is on this surgery.and I mean it. they always treat me with respect,are very helpful especially all nurses and receptionists. So a big thank you!

The only thing I'm missing is a follow up after blood test. As I did see some out of range numbers and it does want try me.even tho I know the doctors know to look for a bigger picture. I would just appreciate follow up with an explanation. just that.

My son was coughing badly and the receptionist said she couldn’t get an appointment till the Friday. I phoned on the Tuesday.

When going to see Ann paediatrician she said she was sending over a prescription for a new inhaler to be collected there and then at Yapton pharmacy, it never got there . I saw Anne at 10 o’clock and she said that the prescription would be at the pharmacy by 10:30. It wasn’t I went again at 12 o’clock. It still hadn’t arrived. I went again at 5 o’clock and it still hadn’t arrived and then went to Abbotsford medical Centre. Spoke to a different receptionist there Who spoke to the Doctor Who said that she would send the prescription to the Tesco’s pharmacy at 6:30 it didn’t happen. I then went on the Saturday morning to Tesco’s and it still hadn’t come in. My son was coughing really badly and we were going away for a few days I had no inhaler , I then contacted the Surgery again and asked if I could have this prescription on the Monday. I asked if they could send me a text message if it was going to happen. Nothing then went to Tesco’s on the Wednesday asked if the prescription had come through, and finally had , my son had gone off on holiday on the Sunday with his grandfather with no medication. I think this was disgusting .

Receptionists are really helpful and kind when you call into the surgery and you can get an appointment easily. However although much improved I recently waited 30mins (I was 9th in the queue) to get through. Not the fault of the receptionist she was very polite and apologised for the wait, but perhaps more staff would ease the problem.
