The receptionists are always very polite and helpful. The new e consult service is good and much improved on the previous first come, first serve system. Unfortunately my appointment was very disappointing and I burst into tears as soon as I left the surgery. Despite having a list of symptoms, checking the NHS website and the NICE guidelines I feel that I just wasn't listened to regarding peri menopausal care and possible HRT treatment. I practically begged for help but feel I was fobbed off with out of date information. I'm feeling very hopeless and disparaged.

Suggested improvements
Please please please can some updated training/information be given regarding peri and menopausal care. So much has changed regarding age/diagnosis and treatments in the last few years. It doesn't feel like this is apparent. I don't want other women to have to share my experience in order to access the care they need.
