I tried to contact the surgery by phone the day before finally getting through. Initially I waited half an hour in a queue but when answered the receptionist couldn’t hear me. I rang again immediately and was in a queue for 50 minutes until I got to the top of the queue but was then cut off. I left it until the next day and got through after 20 minutes. I don’t usually have trouble getting connected so I think/hope this was a one off.

Suggested improvements
If it’s down to volume of callers I don’t know how this could be resolved.
