Being offered an appointment nearly a month away after reporting mental health and stomach issues is not acceptable in my mind. It always takes ages to get through and I do not have the energy for the 0830 appointment lottery when I also have work and family to deal with. Calling outside of the daily appointment time is no better and I suspect that many callers are chasing up previous issues. I was prescribed a drug which was not discussed with me, another medication, which you wanted me to increase was prescribed as a separate prescription which meant I would have had to pay twice. You cancelled this then prescribed me the whole dosage in one tablet which I have not been able to locate so far. I'm out of medication on Monday, back at work and probably will have to take more time off to try and resolve this

Suggested improvements
Allow appointments to be made within reasonable timescales. If someone NEEDS a same day appointment, they might be better calling 111 or visiting a&e. Appreciate this only moves the problem down the line but your phone lines are clogged up with people competing for appointments on a daily basis and those of us who do not have the time to join the queue daily only to be told to call back tomorrow can't get appointments within a reasonable time scale. I know a lot of my complaints are due to nhs funding/ staffing but I know people in other parts of the country who can call their doctor and get an appointment within that week on their first call - I'd love to have that.
