My appointment was 45 minutes late, the doctor had out of date swabs that she had to throw in the bin, then she had to leave the room to find swabs in date. I wasn’t given many clear answer and was told that basically going on the coil is my only option. When I said I didn’t want the coil I was told to think about it, I was told if I was Referred back to the hospital they would only tell me the same. Nothing was mentioned about taking a blood test until my mum explained my nan went through early menopause, was really let down by my treatment.
