My son was coughing badly and the receptionist said she couldn’t get an appointment till the Friday. I phoned on the Tuesday.

Suggested improvements
When going to see Ann paediatrician she said she was sending over a prescription for a new inhaler to be collected there and then at Yapton pharmacy, it never got there . I saw Anne at 10 o’clock and she said that the prescription would be at the pharmacy by 10:30. It wasn’t I went again at 12 o’clock. It still hadn’t arrived. I went again at 5 o’clock and it still hadn’t arrived and then went to Abbotsford medical Centre. Spoke to a different receptionist there Who spoke to the Doctor Who said that she would send the prescription to the Tesco’s pharmacy at 6:30 it didn’t happen. I then went on the Saturday morning to Tesco’s and it still hadn’t come in. My son was coughing really badly and we were going away for a few days I had no inhaler , I then contacted the Surgery again and asked if I could have this prescription on the Monday. I asked if they could send me a text message if it was going to happen. Nothing then went to Tesco’s on the Wednesday asked if the prescription had come through, and finally had , my son had gone off on holiday on the Sunday with his grandfather with no medication. I think this was disgusting .
