The phone wait is extraordinarily long (in excess of 45 mins) and the ‘call back’ doesn’t always activate. Although I went to the wrong surgery (for which I was extremely apologetic), the receptionist at Yapton was unhelpful when I asked her to let Elmer know about the mistake. Told me to try to go there or call them to advise them myself. And I’ve already said how difficult it is to get through by phone.

Suggested improvements
I was very upset at missing my appt and as being seen as a “no show” as I completely agree we should turn up or advise if unable. The Yapton receptionist could have made Elmer aware on my behalf, in a timely and helpful (for Elmer as well as myself) manner.
