When I called the answer machine explained the new procedures. I followed the advice and was eventually told to call the surgery back and make an appointment. It took about 15 minutes to get through, The receptionist then again explained the new procedure, I told her I had followed the answer machine instructions and was directed back to phone the surgery. I was then asked a few questions about the reason for my call and then asked to hold. About 5 minutes later I was given an appointment for 2.15 pm the same day, by 5pm following on from the consolation I had a text from the pharmacy to say my prescription was ready to collect. Brilliant system! Brilliant service! Brilliant people! ……. and a lot less pain for me. Thank you. This new appointment approach seems a great way forward.
