I needed an urgent appointment to see my GP after an urgent referral from A&E. I called at 8 am and the line was busy. After about 20 calls I had to actually turn up at the surgery to get my appointment. I was strongly advised at the A&E to have an urgent MRI arranged by my GP which has not been confirmed to me as done. The doctor kept my notes and asked the receptionist to have them back. She was quite rude to me and said that it was difficult to understand which i presume it can be attributable to my Spanish accent. Well I have been in this country for 5 years, have a job in Finance and nobody has ever told me that it is difficult to understand me, so I feel humiliated. Apart from that, I had a blood test and the nurse was about to leave one of my blood samples on the desk and had to tell her she was forgetting my other sample. First time in this surgery and hugely disappointed.
