i find this very helpful I have a hiatus hernia and take this medication
Without the medication I suffer acid reflux and also silent reflux which can effect my voice which as a vocal tutor is not good
I would highly recommend this product
As a patient prescribed Lansoprazole Capsules (15mg) by my GP I have not so far experienced adverse affects; of course each patient may have different requirements
therefore I am unsure whether I am in a position to recommend this medication to others. I do not know conclusively if Lansoprazole has improved the quality of life although I rather suspect it has.
I think I understand in my case what the medication is for and how it works.Taken as prescribed it appears to be very effective, however, prior to my ingestion of Lansoprazole I would say that as far as I am aware the amount of stomach acid in my
system could be neutral?
No more reflux
I was prescribed this medicine for reflux and also hiatus hernia. It works very well for these problems.
Profile
Lansoprazole is used to treat certain stomach and esophagus problems (such as acid reflux, ulcers). It works by decreasing the amount of acid your stomach makes. It relieves symptoms such as heartburn, difficulty swallowing, and persistent cough. This medication helps heal acid damage to the stomach and esophagus, helps prevent ulcers, and may help prevent cancer of the esophagus. Lansoprazole belongs to a class of drugs known as proton pump inhibitors (PPIs).
