Clopidogrel

I think Clopidogrel is causing me a few muscular aches and pains, mainly in my shoulders. These are not too bad and I am happy to ignore them. I cannot be sure it is the cause but the the aches started when I began taking it. I cannot tolerate aspirin (it caused a lot of headaches) but am ok on Clopidogrel. I have to take an anti-platelet drug so I don't have much choice about taking this medicine.

I take Clopidogrel because I have peripheral arterial disease. I've been on it for about two and a half years. I also take asprin at the same time. The only side effects really are that I bruise very easily, particularly on my arms.

This was substituted from aspirin after GI bleeding in 2009

I react to a lot of medication but I have been fine on this.
