I am a NHS patient of Prof Singh and had a shoulder replacement. He first examined me at a local NHS clinic and was quick to determine that a replacement joint might be required. After a couple of CRT and X Ray reviews, at a consultation to offered an operation and carefully explained both the benefits and limits. He felt that I was a serious and plausible patient. Throughout the day of the operation Prof Singh was focused and professional, but immediately after the operation expressed reassuring satisfaction to me with the results. At a recent consultation, we was similarly very reassuring and encouraged me to seek as much freedom of movement in my shoulder, but to be patient, giving it more time than I might have done. I was pleased to hear that he wished to see me for one more consultancy after 6 months to see my progress especially with my aspiration to returm to playing golf. Overall, I am very happy.

I was referred to Prof Singh in May 2018, injuries to my right shoulder had been very painful with headaches and lots of discomfort from shoulder up through into neck. Through having MRI it showed a torn tendon. Within seeing Prof Singh he made a decision to operate on my rotator cuff , and clavical . The operation was carried out within a month of this diagnosis, and has been very successful for me. Prof Singh is approachable and understanding , and certainly knows all about orthopaedics, highly recommended.

I was recommended to Prof.Singh at Kims Hospital, Maidstone by a top east Kent physio. I was not to be disappointed. Over the years I had had a lot of right shoulder problems, the result of many years of long distance swimming harming my rotator cuffs. It was finally a fall onto the shoulder which left me in pain and hardly able to use my arm that made me seek his advice. He pointed out several options, a couple avoiding surgery but it was clear my best option was to have a reverse polarity full shoulder replacement. He visited me in hospital before the op. and very soon after, explaining that all had gone well, taking time to answer my queries and detailing the yes and no situations to help recovery. The physio. he arranged for me at Kims has resulted now some 19 weeks later in recovering well ahead of what might be a normal recovery. I could not be happier with the whole situation.
