For a period of time I had been diagnosed with osteoarthritis in both hips and had increasingly been in considerable pain. An x-ray showed that I had become suitable for a total hip replacement surgery. I was referred to Mr Shah for a consultation and, after a thorough discussion and diagnosis, he recommended that this be in the form of two operations, with the hip in the worst condition to be replaced first. Both operations were performed by Mr Shah at the BMI Chelsfield Park Hospital, the first in July 2018 and the second five months later. I could not have chosen a better surgeon for the job. I found him to be extremely professional, with a very kind and caring manner, and he always explained everything very clearly. Whilst I was still in hospital he also took the trouble to call me to ask how I was recovering and if I had any concerns. I have already recommended him to and friend and would be happy to do so again.
