I first met Mr Shah in August because of some discomfort I had in my left hip. I had a total hip replacement five years earlier by a different consultant. After x-rays and a bone scan Mr Shah suggested a revision hip replacement within a year as the original implant was lose. I had a successful revision hip replacement in October by Mr Shah. Even though the recovery from revision hip replacements is supposedly longer, I have recovered quicker than expected and after six weeks I am now pain free - I only have slight discomfort after longer walks - and can walk around the house without a crutch. Mr Shah has been polite and courteous throughout the whole experience always taking time to answer questions in great detail and alleviate any worries.
