I can genuinely say how much I appreciated the total competency and professionalism of Mr Pearce my surgeon and his caring and cheerful team during a total knee replacement and recovery at the Spire Sussex Hospital. Everything was fully explained to me prior to and after the operation that made me feel I was in very capable hands. I am still really surprised how quickly I was able to walk again without pain.

I underwent a total knee replacement within a year of having had a hip replacement. I am in my mid-eighties and thanks to Mr Pearce who carried out both procedures by six weeks attained near normal function of each limb - much more rapidly than I expected. I strongly recommend Mr Pearce, both for his clinical expertise and attentiveness throughout my treatment at Spire Sussex.

Mr S.Pearce was very approachable and attentive to my requests.He answered all my questions clearly in a manner I could understand. He made me feel comfortable in what was for me was a nervous situation.Overall,both pre-op and post op, he was aware of my care and explained how this treatment would improve my quality of life. Now six weeks after the procedure I can fully appreciate his words and advice. His team (nursing, hospitality and reception staff) at The Spire were extremely caring and proffessional in every contact I had with them. While it is easy to say, I am very pleased to state how very satisfied I am to have been treated by Mr Pearce and his team.
