Mr Pearce has a very good bedside manner. He took time to explain everything about my procedure and why it was required. Everything about my care under Mr Pearce was first class. The only suggestion I would make is around the supporting literature. Whist the existing literature is very good and of course every patient is different I would have liked more information around how I was supposed to feel at say 2, 4, 6 and 8 weeks post op. For example the literature suggests that I would be able to resume normal day to day activities at six weeks but I would have found it useful to know what levels of pain and discomfort to expect at the above intervals to stop me worrying about whether or not things were progressing as they should be.
